Product-Specific Terms & Conditions
The product-specific cancellation conditions are set out in the respective product description, booking confirmation, or within the framework of an individual agreement and form an integral part of the contract.
In addition, the following general rules apply:
If the customer cancels no later than 48 hours before the start of the tour, the participation fee will be fully refunded (100%).
If the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the start of the tour, the participation fee cannot be refunded and will be charged in full (100%).
The working time for guided tours begins 15 minutes before the agreed meeting point. If the tour is extended for reasons beyond the control of the service provider, any extension of more than 15 minutes, up to a maximum of one hour, will be considered additional working time and charged at €50 (plus any applicable statutory VAT). Any further extension of the agreed duration requires a separate written agreement and is only possible subject to the service provider’s operational availability and capacity. If an extension or a change of time is not possible for organizational or operational reasons, there is no entitlement to additional services or refunds.
Tours that require special or additional services — such as planning or administrative work, the use of buses, bicycles or ships, equipment, catering, entrance fees, or interpreting services — may be subject to additional conditions and costs. For individually organized tours or programs with specific requirements, the time required for planning and administration may be charged separately.
This does not apply to simple, directly bookable guided walking tours. Any applicable administrative or handling fees will be clearly communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
If costs arise through third-party providers in the course of organizing the tour, or if such costs have already been advanced, these costs shall be borne by the customer and invoiced accordingly. Unless otherwise agreed, billing takes place after the tour has been completed.
Please note that deviating cancellation conditions or special agreements may apply if these have been expressly and individually agreed upon at the time of booking.
