Feel the urban nature - Cruise (2,5h)

Join this cruise to enjoy the scenery of Helsinki seaside, learn about the history of the area and observe how nature and the city blend together.

 

In addition, you get to explore Hanasaari's outdoor art park. This tour is also suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Finland - the worlds happiest Country (1,5h)

For the sixth year in a row, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world by the United Nations-sponsored World Happiness Report

This walking Tour offers a sneak peek to the scenes behind the "Finnish Happiness". We also familiarise ourselves with "Oodi" - the celebrated Library of Helsinki, we find out where the finnish media is located, where the "walls speak softly" and what happens in Finlandia Hall and in the seat of the Parliament of Finland.

Nordic Walking around
Töölönlahti Bay (1,5 h)

Feeling like a little bit of Nordic Walking would do you good and you are hungry for fresh air, city life and nature - just like the locals love it? 

This Tour takes you around the Töölönlahti Bay, you'll learn basic skills of Nordic Walking and hear and see the Pearls of the District: the Finlandia Hall, the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, Olympic Stadium and historical wooden Villas along the shores - a glimpse of the districts history and current day life!

Nordic Walking sticks available.

The Heart of Helsinki (1,5h)

A guided walking tour for those who want to get to know the buildings located near Senate Square, such as the University of Helsinki, the older and newer libraries, and at the same time hear about the main features of the development of the city of Helsinki.

 

We take a tour in the vicinity of Senate Square and the University, and during the tour we get to know interesting details.

Art and Technology in Metro (80 min)

This Tour takes us to the brand new metro in the City of Espoo. During the Tour we get acquainted with the artwork and technical details of the shiny new stations and we also visit some of the neighbourhoods to find out a bit of history and current times life of the local people.

 

Available also as an accessible Tour (max. 8 wheelchairs)

Cycling through the Kingsroad's landscape (3h)

Guided bicycle tour between Kirkkonummi's Ragvalds museum area and Espoonkartano.

On the trip, we travel at a moderate pace, surrounded by the beautiful landscape, stopping occasionally and getting to know different layers of history, which we don't always even notice anymore. 

 

Along the route you will see e.g. a medieval church, an ancient sea channel, the Pokrova Orthodox monastery, signs of the Porkkala lease period, the combination of modern construction and the medieval route, as well as the king's mansion with its stone arch bridge from the 1770s.

 

The route can be shortened and, if desired, you can also take advantage of the nearby railway and travel part of the route by local train.

The National Romantic Villas -Tour (4h)

The “Historic Villa Tour” takes the group to 2 Villas located close to each other in Kirkkonummi, app. 30 minutes drive towards West from Helsinki City Centre.

The villas Majvik and Hvitträsk represent the national romantic Era of Finland. The National Romantic Era is all about the Nordic Architectural style that was part of the National Romantic movement during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is often considered to be a form of Art Nouveau.

We travel between the villas by bus.

Guided tour and Museum visit in Hvitträsk.

The Kirkkonummi battle 1918
- when the peace of the rural idyll was shaken (3 h)

On this tour, together with a history expert and a local guide, we get to know about the events that took place year 1918 in Kirkkonummi.

 

During the tour, we will hear about society's drift into a military crisis as Finland was gaining independence from Russia.

 

We visit the locations of the Kirkkonummi battles and the so called "red" and "white" memorials.

Lovely Swamp Walks (4,5h)

On this Tour, we explore the Kirkkonummi Meiko recreation area's wetlands, look into the animal-life and think about the human touch in a forest. 

 

We give time to our senses and enjoy the peace and beauty of the wilderness in different seasons. A special "Trilogy of Swamp Landscape" and Snow Shoe - Walk are also offered.

Group Tour to Forest (5,5h)

Kirkkonummi's Central Forest is a hidden gem that shows off both the diversity of nature and several layers of history. 

On the tour, a local and a wilderness guide will tell you about local nature and the signs of human activity in the area: we will see different types of forests and animal habitats, as well as a walnut grove and a peak cavern.

The historical military structures related to local history, the boundaries of the estates dating back to the Middle Ages and the current use of the forest tell then again about human activity in the area.

Experience darkness in a  forest (5 hrs)

Glaring eyes and threats of the dark?

On this trip to the darkening forest, you can safely get together with experienced field guides to experience how dim and fading darkness takes over the area from the light.

The main idea of ​​the tour is to open our senses in a new way. We wonder what happens when darkness takes over, the sense of sight fades and we perhaps go a little outside our own comfort zone.

 

We also practice using our own lights in the dark.  In the end of the tour we gather around an warm open fire to enjoy our own picnic lunch!
